The Lord's Prayer, or "Our Father" is a central Christian prayer taught by Jesus, found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke.

This prayer begins by offering praise to our awesome God. It then asks God for forgiveness of our sins and protection from things that are not good for us, that we call "evil".

Many other Christian churches around the world, besides the Catholic Church, also pray this wonderful prayer that Jesus taught us to pray.

Please join me in the sign of our faith. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done.
On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil. Amen.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
