Please join me in the sign of our faith. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude as we return to school after Thanksgiving.

Thank You for the beautiful blessing of our families, our friends, our teachers, and this school community. Thank You for the safety of our homes and the food we shared around our tables.

Lord Jesus, as we remember our own blessings, we lift up our brothers and sisters around the world who are carrying heavy crosses today. We pray for those who are struggling to find food to eat, those who have no safe shelter or home, and those who are anxiously searching for a job to support their families.

By the grace of the Holy Spirit, stir our hearts with deep compassion. Teach us to love as You love and guide us to be Your hands and feet in the world.

We place today in Your loving hands, through the intercession of our Blessed Mother. Our Lady, Mother of the Poor, pray for us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
