Today is May 1^st. The month of May is devoted to our Holy Mother, Mary.

Mary was an important part of God's plan to bring Jesus, Our Savior, into the world. She loved and cared for Jesus from the time He was a baby to the time He went back to Heaven.

Mary is the special mother God chose for Jesus. When God asked her to be Jesus' mom, she was brave and said "Yes," even though she was surprised. Mary is our loving mother in heaven, whom we can call on for help.

Let us pray,

Thank you Mary, for saying “Yes” to God and being Jesus’ mother. We ask you to pray for us as we begin this new day together. We pray for peace in the world. May each of us do our part to bring peace here in our school, in our homes, and out in the world.

We ask all our prayers in Jesus’ Name.
