We lift up the languages of this land,
including Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota, and Michif.
We honour the songs, stories, and ways of knowing that have been carried across generations.

We recognize the strength of these languages and cultures,
even through times when they were threatened or silenced.
Help us to protect, respect, and celebrate them,
so they continue to live, grow, and be shared with pride for generations to come.
Amen.
