Prayer of Gratitude for the Land

We give thanks for the land we gather on today, Treaty 4 territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota and Nakota peoples, and the homeland of the Métis.

We give thanks for the waters, the skies, the plants, the animals, and all our relations.
Remind us that we are not separate from this land but connected to it.
May we honour the responsibilities that come with being Treaty people and walk gently and respectfully in all that we do.
Amen.
