Daily Prayer - June 2

Today our prayer's theme centers around human dignity.

Human dignity means that everyone has equal, priceless value just for being alive. It is the right to be treated with respect, kindness, and fairness, regardless of who you are. In simple terms, it means you matter, and every other person on the planet matters too.

For Catholic Christians human dignity means every single person is special and deeply loved by God because they are made in His "image and likeness".

Let us pray:

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

You made every single one of us to be just like You. Because of that, every person is incredibly special and important.
Help us to see how special everyone is, no matter who they are.
Give us the courage to treat everyone with respect every single day.
Fill our hearts with love so we can help people who are lonely, hurt or treated unfairly.
We know the world can only be a good and fair place when we treat everyone like they truly matter to You.
Give us Your strength to stand up against unfair things with kindness, love and a helpful heart.
Amen.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
