On this special day of Christmas, 
we come before you with grateful hearts and minds full of joy. 

We give thanks for the birth of your son, Jesus, 
and for the gift of salvation that he brings to the world. 

As we celebrate the season of love, peace, and hope, 
we ask that you bless us with your grace and mercy
