Today is Holy Thursday. It is also known as “The Last Supper”.

The bible tells us that during the last meal Jesus had with his friends, he serves others. He prays for his friends. He also shows forgiveness and love to all his friends, even though some of them didn’t truly deserve it. Jesus sets an example for us of how we must be willing to serve others and show forgiveness and love. No matter what!

Let’s work hard at following Jesus’ example – to pray, forgive, share and serve one another.

As we go our separate ways for the Easter holidays, we ask God to protect us and keep us safe. May we take time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday and remember the great sacrifice that Jesus made for all of us.
